Foothills Goat & Sheep Producers Association
Foothills Goat & Sheep Producers Association works to promote the goat and sheep industry in the foothills region of both Carolinas. Headquartered in Shelby, NC, the organization seeks to benefit members through collaborative education & marketing strategies. Major events include sanctioned goat shows, youth shows & clinics, and an annual Boer Goat Production Sale. Membership is $35 per farm, due January 1 each year.
The Association holds regular business meetings at the Cleveland County Extension Center, located at 130 S. Post Road in Shelby. We also coordinate educational presentations, demonstrations and field days tailored to the information needs and interests of our members.

Whether you're looking to buy or to sell, you won't want to miss this special event! Held at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds (1751 E. Marion Street in Shelby, NC), the sale will feature registered Boer does & bucks, plus top-quality show wethers from the most respected and successful suppliers in the region.
Space is limited, so make your consignments early (deadline is March 15). Cost to consign is $20 for does & bucks and $15 for wethers. To consign bucks or does, send a copy of the animal's registration papers, plus comments (including pedigree, show history, and reproductive status of does) and photos for the catalog, along with your contact information to:Naomi Keller (click for email)

When your information is received, Naomi will send you a consignment agreement and an invoice.
Note to Sellers: Our wethers have already been booked, but let Naomi Keller know if you will have show-quality wethers available for sale. We may accept additional consignments if space permits.
